A film by Joachim Olender
For his exhibition at CENTRALE, Xavier Noiret-Thomé invited filmmaker and video artist Joachim Olender to create a film object around his work. Inspired by a game invented by Noiret-Thomé in the 90’s, Les joueurs (première partie) stages a card game between friends whereby four artists engage in a “card war”, using reproductions of artworks, thus revisiting a tiny part of the history of painting.
